We are seeking an experienced Web Developer with a focus on Frontend development to join our innovative AI startup in Aachen. This position requires an individual who is passionate about creating seamless and visually appealing web applications while playing a key role in steering and strategizing our development efforts.
Your tasks
- Design and implement responsive and user-friendly web applications using React.js.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate design concepts into functional and visually appealing interfaces
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize application performance
- Lead and guide a team of frontend developers, providing technical expertise and mentorship
- Contribute to the strategic planning and decision-making processes related to frontend development
- Collaborate with other teams to align frontend development with overall project goals
- Conduct regular code reviews to maintain code quality and adherence to coding standards
- Implement and enforce best practices for frontend development, ensuring optimal performance and maintainability
- Identify and address technical challenges, proposing effective and scalable solutions
- Effectively communicate project updates, challenges, and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Collaborate with backend developers, product managers, and designers to ensure seamless integration of frontend and backend components
Your profile
- Studied in Computer Science or in a related field
- At least 3 years of professional experience as a Frontend Developer
- Proficient in React js
- Detailed knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Working knowledge of Git, REST API
- For security issues, work is only possible on site in our office in Aachen
